Customizing Your Phone27Keypad lock consists of the following:Menu Key: The Menu soft key is locked. You cannot access the menu of thephone until unlocked.Function Keys: The function keys are locked. You cannot use the MESSAGE,REDIAL, HOLD, MUTE, TRANSFER, OK, X, navigation keys, softkeys and line keys until unlocked.All Keys: All keys are locked except the Volume key. You are onlyallowed to dial emergency numbers, reject incoming calls bypressing the X key, answer incoming calls by lifting the handset,pressing the Speakerphone key, the HEADSET key or the OKkey, mute an active call by pressing the X key, place an activecall on hold by pressing the Hold soft key, resume the held callby pressing the Resume soft key, and end the call by hangingup the handset or pressing the Speakerphone key.NoteTo activate the keypad lock via phone user interface:1. Press Menu->Advanced (password: admin) ->Phone Settings->Keypad Lock.2. Press or , or the Switch soft key to select Enabled from the Keypad LockEnable field.3. Press or , or the Switch soft key to select the desired type from the KeypadLock Type field.4. Press the Save soft key to accept the change.Long press to lock the keypad immediately when the phone is idle.The emergency number setting, if desired, must be made before lock activation.
