OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE7.1 OPERATIONAL LIMITS• This unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have beengiven supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsiblefor their safety.• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.• For installations without a thermostat or room temperature limiting device, it is prohibited touse the fancoil in small rooms occupied by people unable to leave the room by themselves, unless they are not under constant surveillance.Since your fan coil is equipped with a water-fed heat exchanger, be sure that ambient temperaturedoes not fall below 0 °C, which could cause the formation of ice in the exchanger pipes withconsequent risks of frost damage. If ambient temperature may fall below 0 °C, drain the coil when the unit is not being used.To perform this operation, open the air bleed/drain valve located at the sides of the waterconnections (see Enclosure 4, fig. 2).During operation (as well as during installation), make sure that the air intake and thedelivery outlets are not blocked in any way.Use protective gloves during any maintenance operation.Do not insert any objects or the hands into the fan.Do not sit down on the unit.7.2 ORDINARY START-UP AND MAINTENANCEAfter connecting the unit to the pipe system and after filling the coil, bleed any residual airin the system by opening the air bleed valves located near the external water connectionsat the top of the unit (see enclosure 4, fig. 2).Before starting the system, check the proper opening of the valves and the absence ofwater leaks from the pipes. Verify that the condensate is duly evacuated by spilling someALWAYS GROUND THE UNIT.
