General informationMoving your applianceYou may damage some soft or badly fitted floor coverings when you movethe appliance. The floor covering under the appliance should be securelyfixed so it does not ruck up when you move the appliance across it.Alternatively you could remove the floor covering.To move the appliance open the grill door. Raise the appliance off its frontfeet by lifting from inside the grill. Pull the appliance forward. When youreplace the appliance push it back to the stop and make sure there is thesame gap at each rear corner.The batteryThe battery for the ignition willusually last for many months. If theignition system doesn't work youprobably need to replace thebattery.The battery is at the base of theappliance on the left-hand side ofthe front. When you need to replacethe battery, open the main ovendoor, lift up the battery holder lid andreplace the battery as shown in thediagram. The battery you need toreplace is AA size.When you fit the new battery, makesure the positive end (marked with a + sign) is next to the (+) sign on thebattery holder.
