Refer to Safety chapters.Freezing fresh foodThe freezer compartment is suitable for freez-ing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen food for a long time.To freeze fresh foods it is not necessary tochange the medium setting.However, for a faster freezing operation, turnthe temperature regulator toward higher set-tings to obtain the maximum coldness.Place the fresh food to be frozen on the shelfof the freezer compartment that is the coldestplace.The maximum amount of food that can befrozen in 24 hours is specified on the ratingplate, a label located on the inside of theappliance.The freezing process lasts 24 hours: duringthis period do not add other food to be frozen.Storage of frozen foodWhen first starting-up or after a period out ofuse, before putting the products in thecompartment let the appliance run at least4 hours on the higher settings.In the event of accidental defrosting, forexample due to a power failure, if thepower has been off for longer than thevalue shown in the technical character-istics chart under “rising time”, the de-frosted food must be consumed quicklyor cooked immediately and then refrozen(after cooling).ThawingDeep-frozen or frozen food, prior to beingused, can be thawed in the refrigerator com-partment or at room temperature, dependingon the time available for this operation.Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen,directly from the freezer: in this case, cookingwill take longer.www.markabolt.hu
