It is also intended asa reference for servicing, so that this can be carriedout in a responsible manner. The device is subjectto continuous development and improvement. As aresult, the ComfoAir 200 may slightly differ from thedescriptions.NOTEThis manual has been compiled withthe utmost care. However, no rights can bederived from it. In addition, we at all timesreserve the right to change the contents ofthis manual, without prior notice.1 IntroductionThis chapter provides general information on theComfoAir 200 .1.1 CE markingThe device's name is ComfoAir 200 . In the followingit will be referred to as ComfoAir.The ComfoAir is a balanced ventilation system withheat recovery in order to create healthy, balanced andenergy-efficient ventilation in houses. The ComfoAiridentification plate is shown below.1.2 Warranty and liability1.2.1 Guarantee conditionsThe ComfoAir is covered by a manufacturer’s war-ranty for a period of 24 months after fi tting up to amaximum of 30 months after the date of manufac-ture. Warranty claims may only be submitted for ma-terial faults and/or construction faults arising duringthe warranty period. In the case of a warranty claim,the ComfoAir must not be dismantled without writtenpermission from the manufacturer. Spare parts areonly covered by guarantee, if they were supplied bythe manufacturer and have been installed by an ap-proved installer.The warranty becomes invalid if:• The guarantee period has elapsed;• The device is used without filters;• Parts are used that have not been supplied by themanufacturer;• Non-authorised changes or modifications havebeen made to the unit.1.2.2 LiabilityThe ComfoAir has been designed and manufacturedfor use in “balanced ventilation systems”.
