2For the user - 5 - EN2.2.2 3-position switchA 3-position switch can be used to set the ventilationpositions of the ComfoAir. One or multiple 3-positionswitches can be fitted in the house (e.g. in the kitch-en). The following types of switches can be used:• Type 1 Standard 3-position switch;• Type 2 3-position switch with LED for malfunc-tion and filter alerts;• Type 3 Wireless 3-position switch (RF) with LEDfor malfunction and filter indication; If multiple position switches are available inthe house, the ComfoAir will switch to thehighest ventilation setting unless overruled byan automated software programme.Setting the ventilation using3-position switch(es)A 3-position switch can be used to set 3 differentventilation positions.• Position 1 Low.- Use for low ventilation levels.• Position 2 Normal.- Use if you require normal ven-tilation.• Position 3 High.- Use this position during cook-ing, showering and when addi-tional ventilation is needed.321Type 1 Type 2 Type 3The CC Ease panel can be used to select anadditional ventilation position (the absentsetting).2.2.3 CO 2 sensorThe ComfoAir can also be operated using a CO2 sen-sor. A CO 2 sensor can be used either as a 3-posi-tion switch or to determine manually the ventilationrequired by measuring CO2 levels in the room con-cerned.2.2.4 Bathroom switchA bathroom switch can be used to temporarily set theComfoAir in the highest ventilation level. This switchis mostly fitted in the bathroom to extract any ex-cess moisture after showering, as soon as possible. The bathroom switches vary widely in model and aretherefore not illustrated here.If required, the bathroom switch can be turned on andoff using a time delay entered via a digital operatingdevice.Delay timerThis ensures that the ComfoAir does not switch on atthe highest setting when activated, but first waits forthe delay timer to run its course. If the bathroom switch is deactivated duringthe delay timer period, then the ComfoAirwill remain at its current ventilation settingand not switch to the highest setting. The delay timer does not work with all typesof bathroom switches (e.g. pulse switches). In that case, leave the delay timer at 0.Overrun timerThis ensures that the ComfoAir does not switch backto the default (or preprogrammed) setting when deac-tivated, but first waits for the overrun timer to run itscourse. Once the programmed overrun timer is com-plete, the ComfoAir returns to the default (or prepro-grammed) ventilation setting. If the bathroom switch is turned off withinthe programmed overrun timer period, thenthe overrun function will be terminated.Light switchThe functions of the bathroom switch can also be in-tegrated into a light switch.2.2.5 CC Ease panelThe ComfoAir can be operated by means of aCC Ease panel, which can be ordered separately. The CC (Comfort Control) Ease panel is a digital op-erating device which can be mounted on the wall inthe living room and from there communicates with theComfoAir. The following overview summarizes the in-formation that will be displayed.
