Red = saturation (maximum).If the image is not bright enough, it appears blueon the screen. Blue = zero (minimum).Adjusting the laser intensity! Set the Pinhole to 1 Airy Unit (Fig. 25).! Set the Gain (Master) high.! When the image is saturated, reduce AOTFtransmission in the Laser control section of theChannels Tool (Fig. 25) using the slider toreduce the intensity of the laser light to thespecimen.Adjusting gain and offset! Increase the Digital Offset until all blue pixelsdisappear, and then make it slightly positive(Fig. 25).!
