Preparations for use S7 / OPMI VISU 160Version 6.0Page 114 G-30-1528-enMicroscope accessories, changingYou can change the microscope accessories in reverse order to that describedbefore.• Turn off the unit at the power switch before changing any accessories.• Bring the suspension arm in a position convenient for you and tighten fric-tion adjustment knob (1).• After changing the accessories, re-adjust the friction as required.CAUTION Risk of injury!The swivel arm may move downward when accessories are changed.• Make sure that the maximum permissible load on the suspension arm isnot exceeded.• Re-adjust the balance of the suspension arm after every change of acces-sories.• Adjust the limit of downward travel of the suspension arm in such a waythat the surgical microscope cannot come into contact with the patient.This applies in particular during the installation of accessories underneaththe microscope.CAUTION Risk of injury!Incorrectly mounted accessories can fall down.• Do not replace accessories over the patient.• After each use and after each modification of the device, check for thefirm seat of the accessory. Make sure that securing screw (3) and objec-tive lens (2) have been firmly tightened!• Mount accessories only in accordance with the appropriate Instructionfor Use.
