It is used to power and control the motorized functions ofa surgical microscope. The hallmarks of the system are its superb mobility andeasy operation. The motorized functions of the connected surgical micro-scope can be controlled using a foot control panel.Additional useful functions:– fully automatic lamp change in the halogen light source,– brightness control via the foot control panel.The S7 ceiling mount with rigid column comprises of the suspension arm, car-rier arm, column and ceiling flange. The carrier arm contains the control unitwith all electrical supply systems required for the control of a motorized sur-gical microscope. These motorized functions can be activated using a footcontrol panel.The suspension arm permits almost effortless positioning of the surgical mi-croscope. The spring force of the suspension arm can be varied in a rangefrom 6 to 14 kg, permitting reliable balancing of the microscope even with ac-cessory equipment attached. The suspension arm's range of downward travelcan be limited as required using an adjustable stop.
