Alternatively, use the TV’s CHANNELUP or CHANNEL DOWN keys to highlight the choice, thenpress ON/OFF, POWER, or ENTER to begin.The TV screen will display items in the factory menusetup. Use this function to quickly check contents of aparticular clone memory for correct setup. Press anykey to clear the display and return to the clone selectionmenu.OPERATION NOTESDisconnect the LT2002 from the TV set when the desiredtask has been completed. Disconnecting the cloneautomatically switches it off. The real time clockcontinues to run when the main circuits are switchedoff.After replacing exhausted batteries, or if the programmerbehaves strangely after a static shock, use a paper clipor similar instrument inserted through the small holemarked “RESET” to activate the internal reset switchand restore normal operation. After reset, check thereal-time clock setting. It may be necessary to resetthe clock from a TV programmed to the correct time.The specific microprocessor used in any TV set may bedetermined by activating the service menu. Themicroprocessor part number appears at the top of thescreen with the service menu is activated. Processorsbefore the 221-01006 has limited screen displaycapability. They cannot display entire screens as shownin the quick setup instructions accompanying theLT2002 programmer. Use the printed menu illustrationson the quick setup sheet as an aid in makingprogramming choices.
