Rangeis 0-255. 0 is the Aux position and 255 is off. Use AD-JUST to change the channel number. This feature is use-ful for an in-house information channel, since the TVwould always tune the selected channel when the TV turnson. When inactive the TV retains the channel when theset was last used.5-I CHAN LOCK: Defeats tuning operations. Changingchannels with the Channel Up/Down or keypad numbersis impossible. This feature is ideal if a cable box (or simi-lar) that must be always on the same channel or source isused with the TV set. Range is 0-1. 0 is off and 1 is on.In combination with the START CHANNEL, it can lock-ona particular channel.Note: When channel lock is active AUTO PROGRAM andCH. ADD/DEL in the SETUP MENU are not active.6-I GHOST CH: Either with or without signal present, thechannel number will stay on screen at all times, unlesscaptions are on. The number moves slightly to preventdamage to the screen. Range is from 0 to 1. The defaultis "0" or OFF.Note: When captions are on, the "ghost channel" is notdisplayed.7-I START VOLUME: This function allows the Installer todetermine the initial volume level setting when the TV isturned ON. This feature is useful for an in-house informa-tion channel, since the TV would always select the samevolume when it is turned on. The range of values are 0 -63, 255. If 255 is set, the volume level is retained whenthe set was last used.8-I MIN VOLUME: This function determines the adjust-ment of minimum volume level allowable with the keysVOLUME Up/Down. In this way, for example, someonecannot set the volume too low to hear. The range is from0 to 63. When this item is set to 0, the sound level canbe adjusted down to zero. Change values with ADJUSTkeys. The factory default is 0. It may be best to set thesame value on every TV.Note: The minimum volume level cannot have a valuesetting higher than in the MAX VOLUME level(described below).9-I MAX VOLUME: This function determines the adjust-ment of maximum volume level allowable with the keysVOLUME Up/Down. In this way, for example, someonecannot set the volume level high enough to disturb oth-ers. The range is from 0 to 63. When this item is set to63, the user has full adjustment capability. Change val-ues with ADJUST keys. The factory default is 63. It maybe best to set the same value on every TV.Note: The maximum volume level cannot have a valuesetting lower than the MIN VOLUME level(described above).10-I MUTE DISABLE: Adjust Disable sound mute key op-eration. Range is 0-1. Set to 1, sound cannot be muted.Set to 0, sound can be muted.11-I KEY DEFEAT: When set to 1 it prevents the end userfrom accessing screen menus with the front panel MENU,SELECT and adjust do not function. When set to cero,those keys are functional. The menus can always be ac-cessed with Menu on the remote control12-I IR BANKS EN: For direct access to a particular Chan-nel Bank . When enabled installer can access a channelbank by inputting the IR code for the bank13-I SCAN MODE: Range is 0-1.
