EOperational Change in SmartModule SystemsWhen a CAT-3 SmartController is used in an Adept SmartModules system, or an AdeptServo Kit system, that includes a PDU-2, there is a minor change in operation compared tothe original SmartController. The sequence would be:1. In a SmartModule system with a CAT-3 SmartController, while operating inManual Mode, power is turned off by releasing the Enable switch on the MCP.2. To re-enable power, the user must press and hold the Enable switch.3. Next the user must press the Cmp/Pwr button on the MCP.4. Then the user must press the High Power button on the Front Panel to turn onHigh Power to the robot. The LCD display on the MCP will instruct the user topress the button. The button will be blinking, and must be pressed within 10seconds. (Ten seconds is the default timeout for the High Power button to bepressed. This timeout can be changed using the CONFIG_C utility.)
