20SAFETY DEVICESThe machine are equipped with a numberof devices in order to ensure the safety ofthe operator and of the appliance itself.LIMIT MICROSWITCHIf dishes reach the end of the unloadingarea, before the operator has managed tounload the basket, the limit switch stops thedrawbar motion and therefore the baskets.DOOR MICROSWITCHESEach inspection door is provided with twosafety microswitches forming tworedundant chains (safety level 2).If one of the doors is opened accidentally,the pumps, the conveyor belt gearmotorand the rinsing area solenoid valve stopworking.This way all washing operations arestopped preventing dangerous jets of hotwater from spurting out.Operation is restored only when the doorare closed again and the start button “H”pressed.Depending on the characteristics of thewashing system and the position of theoperators may be necessary moreemergency buttons.EMERGENCY STOP PUSHBUTTONDish inlet and outlet side of the machine isequipped with a red mushroom-shapedpushbutton on yellow field, which, ifpressed, stops all motors. Once the troublehas been removed, it is possible to restartthe machine only after the pushbutton hasbeen rotated and released. Subsequentlypress the start button “H” again.Depending on the characteristics of thewashing system and the position of theoperators may be necessary moreemergency buttons.MOTOR PROTECTION DEVICESEach motor is protected against short-circuits and current overload by automaticmagneto-thermal relays.Lamp "M" switching on signalizes theintervention of any of these relays.In this case, the machine should beswitched off and qualified personnel shouldbe asked for repair.ELEMENTS PROTECTIONEach element is protected against shortcircuit by automatic breakers.Tank elements are protected against dryrunning by minimum level pressure switch.Boiler and dryer elements by thermostatswith manual reset.In case of troubles, ask for the interventionof qualified and authorized personnel (seethe paragraph dedicated to the user).RESIDUAL RISKSAlthough the appliance is equipped with theabove-mentioned safety devices, danger ofburns to upper limbs persists.As already mentioned in the paragraph“DURING WASHING OPERATIONS”,avoid dipping your naked hands into soapyhot water of the tanks. This can causeburns and skin irritations.In this case, immediately rinse them withplenty of water.Anyway consult the productcard of the detergent employed.
