The 3ware website also allowsyou to download drivers for other 3ware controller models andassociated release notes.For Windows, the firmware and driver can be installed from the samedownload. When you run the utility, you can choose to update both the driverand the firmware, or only the driver.For Linux and FreeBSD, updating the driver and updating the firmware aredone separately. You can download them individually from the website.Note: For Linux, do not use the driver from the external Linuxdistribution as it is older than the currently supported driver.Instead, use the driver from the 3ware CD or from the 3ware website.To download the driver or firmware1 On the 3ware website (www.3ware.com), navigate to Service andSupport > Software Downloads.2 Select the product and release desired.3 Select Driver or Firmware (as appropriate) as the item to download.4 Select the Operating System you are using.5 Click Next.
