Select Leave Mass Spec on in Standby to keep the mass spectrometer runningafter analysis has been completed. This feature allows the heaters and gases tocontinue running, even after devices have entered idle state, so that the ion sourceand entrance to the mass spectrometer are kept free of contaminants.6. Select Fail Whole Batch in Case of Missing Vial to fail the entire batch when amissing vial is encountered. If this option is not selected, only the current sample willfail and the queue will continue to the next sample.Add Sets and Samples to a BatchA set can consist of a single sample or multiple samples.1.
