180 Technical data Category C4If the provisions under Category C3 cannot be met, the requirements of the standard canbe met as follows:1. It is ensured that no excessive emission is propagated to neighbouring low-voltagenetworks. In some cases, the natural suppression in transformers and cables issufficient. If in doubt, the supply transformer with static screening between the primaryand secondary windings can be used.2. An EMC plan for preventing disturbances is drawn up for the installation. A template isavailable from the local ABB representative.3. The motor and control cables are selected as specified in the hardware manual.4. The drive is installed according to the instructions given in the hardware manual.WARNING! A drive of category C4 is not intended to be used on a low-voltage publicnetwork which supplies domestic premises. Radio frequency interference is expected ifthe drive is used on such a network.EAC (Eurasian Conformity) markingThe drive has EAC certification. EAC marking is required in Russia, Belarus andKazakhstan.EIP (Electronic Information Products) markingAn EIP mark is attached to the drive to verify that the drive complies with theregulations of the Chinese Administrative Measure on the Control of Pollution Caused byElectronic Information Products.LowvoltageEquipmentLowvoltageEquipmentEquipment(victim)Supply transformerMedium voltage networkStatic screenPoint of measurementDriveNeighbouringnetwork
