ITBGAPC function can receive an integerfrom a station computer – for example, over IEC 61850–8–1. This function is very useful whenthe user wants to generate logical commands (for selector switches or voltage controllers) byinputting an integer number. ITBGAPC function has a logical node mapping in IEC 61850.The Integer to Boolean 16 conversion with logic node representation function (ITBGAPC) willtransfer an integer with a value between 0 to 65535 communicated via IEC 61850 andconnected to the ITBGAPC function block to a combination of activated outputs OUTx where1≤x≤16.The values of the different OUTx are according to the Table 29.If the BLOCK input is activated, it freezes the logical outputs at the last value.Table 29: Output signalsName of OUTx Type Description Value whenactivatedValue whendeactivatedOUT1 BOOLEAN Output 1 1 0OUT2 BOOLEAN Output 2 2 0OUT3 BOOLEAN Output 3 4 0OUT4 BOOLEAN Output 4 8 0OUT5 BOOLEAN Output 5 16 0OUT6 BOOLEAN Output 6 32 0OUT7 BOOLEAN Output 7 64 0OUT8 BOOLEAN Output 8 128 0OUT9 BOOLEAN Output 9 256 0OUT10 BOOLEAN Output 10 512 0OUT11 BOOLEAN Output 11 1024 0OUT12 BOOLEAN Output 12 2048 0OUT13 BOOLEAN Output 13 4096 0OUT14 BOOLEAN Output 14 8192 0OUT15 BOOLEAN Output 15 16384 0OUT16 BOOLEAN Output 16 32768 0The sum of the numbers in column “Value when activated” when all OUTx (1≤x≤16) are activeequals 65535. This is the highest integer that can be converted by the ITBGAPC function block.1MRK 505 363-UEN A Section 14Logic277Application manual
