Allmenu operations are displayed in the LCD window or are available from theVT 100 terminal interface.The opening menu is the access point to all other operations. There are fourMain menu branches: Status, Test, Configuration, and Dial.Each Main menu item has several functions and submenus to identify and ac-cess specific parameters.Main MenuThere are four branches of the main menu as shown in Figure 4-2.Figure 4-2LCD Display of the Main MenuStatus MenuSelecting 1=STATUS from the top of the menu tree displays the contents ofthe status buffer. The Up and Down arrows allow the viewing of the lasttwenty status messages generated during operation of the unit. (An explana-tion of Status Buffer Messages can be found in the appendix, Status Buffer Mes-sages.) Pressing 0 clears the buffer. Pressing Cancel returns to the top of themenu.Test MenuTest controls local and remote testing.
