If the gearboxcannot be put in neutral, do not tow thecar and contact an Abarth Dealership.WARNING131) Before towing, turn the ignition key toMAR-ON and then to STOP withoutremoving it. The steering columnwill automatically lock when the key isremoved and the wheels cannot besteered.132) Before tightening the ring clean thethreaded housing thoroughly. Make surethat the ring is fully fastened in the housingbefore towing the car.133) The front and rear tow hooks shouldbe used only for emergencies on the road.You are allowed to tow the vehicle forshort distances using an appropriatedevice in accordance with the highwaycode (a rigid bar), to move the vehicle onthe road in readiness for towing ortransporting via a breakdown vehicle. Towrings MUST NOT be used to tow vehiclesoff the road or where there are obstaclesand/or for towing operations using cablesor other non-rigid devices.
