Installation should be carriedout by specialised personnel whowill issue the required papers fortravelling on roads.Install any specific and/or additionaldoor mirrors as specified by theHighway Code.Remember that, when towing a trailer, steep hills are harder to climb, brakingdistances increase and overtakingtakes longer depending on the overallweight of the trailer.Engage a low gear when drivingdownhill, rather than constantly usingthe brake. The weight the trailer exerts on thevehicle tow hook reduces the vehicle'sloading capacity by the same amount. To make sure that the maximumtowable weight is not exceeded (givenin the vehicle registration document)account should be taken of the fullyladen trailer, including accessories andluggage.Respect the speed limits specific toeach country for vehicles towingtrailers.1280 AB0A0058C88 STARTING AND DRIVING
