If the seat is notlocked into place, it may unexpectedlyslide and cause the driver to lose control ofthe car.11) Make sure the backrests are properlysecured at both sides to prevent them frommoving forward, in the event of sharpbraking, with possible impact with of thepassengers.WARNING2) The fabric upholstery of the seats hasbeen designed to withstand long-termwear deriving from normal use of the car.Some precautions are however required.Avoid prolonged and/or excessive rubbingagainst clothing accessories such asmetal buckles and Velcro strips which, byapplying a high pressure on the fabric ina small area, could cause it to break,thereby damaging the upholstery.3) Before tilting the backrest, remove anyobjects on the seat cushion.HEAD RESTRAINTSREAR(where provided)To extract the rear head restraints pressbuttons 2 and 3 fig. 16 at the side ofthe two supports simultaneously and liftthem out upwards.
