MC96FM204/FM214104 April 7, 2016 Ver. 1.811.6.3 16-Bit Capture ModeThe timer 2 capture mode is set by T2MS[1:0] as ‘01’. The clock source can use the internal/external clock.Basically, it has the same function as the 16-bit timer/counter mode and the interrupt occurs when T2CNTH/L isequal to T2ADRH/L. The T2CNTH/T2CNTL values are automatically cleared by match signal . It can be alsocleared by software (T2CC).This timer interrupt in capture mode is very useful when the pulse width of captured signal is wider than themaximum period of timer. The capture result is loaded into T2BDRH/T2BDRL.According to EIPOL1 registers setting, the external interrupt EINT12 function is chosen. Of course, the EINT12pin must be set as an input port.A MatchT2CCT2ENPrescalerfxMUXfx/2fx/4fx/64fx/512fx/2048fx/8fx/116-bit CounterT2CNTH/T2CNTL16-bit B Data RegisterT2BDRH/T2BDRLClearEdgeDetectorT2ECEEC2Comparator16-bit A Data RegisterT2ADRH/T2ADRLT2IFRINT_ACKClearTo interruptblockA MatchBuffer Register AReloadREINT12T2CNTRT2EN3T2CK[2:0]ClearEIPOLB[3:2]FLAG12(EIFLAG.5)INT_ACKClearTo interruptblock2T2MS[1:0]2A MatchT2CCT2ENT2ENT2CRH1ADDRESS:C3HINITIAL VALUE : 0000_0000B– T2MS1 T2MS0 – – – T2CC– 0 1 – – – XT2CK2T2CRLXADDRESS:C2HINITIAL VALUE : 0000_0000BT2CK1 T2CK0 T2IFR – T2POL T2ECE T2CNTRX X X – X X XFigure 11.18 16-Bit Capture Mode for Timer 2
