It also supports NetWare/IP and PureIP. In NetWare 5 environments,the StorPoint CD can be integrated as any other 5.0 server simultaneouslyaccessed via IPX, NetWare/IP and PureIP.If your network supports TCP/IP, you can use the Administration Web pages toconfigure the StorPoint CD.NetWare ServerNameThe default NetWare server name is AXIS_NW, where are the last six digits of the StorPoint CD serial number. This is the name thatwill be presented to the NetWare clients on the network. You can change thatname by editing the NetWare Server Name parameter. It is useful to choose amore descriptive name, e.g. in order to indicate where the unit is located.Recommendation! Choose a more descriptive name for your server, e.g. CD Server.Time Synchronization Make sure you specify the time synchronization source properly. Refer to“Date & Time” on page 25.
