Enter the username and password. If you access the device for the first time, you must set the root password. See Set anew password for the root account on page 3 .Set a new password for the root accountThe default administrator username is root. There’s no default password for the root account. You set a password the firsttime you log in to the device.1. Type a password. Follow the instructions about secure passwords. See Secure passwords on page 3 .2. Retype the password to confirm the spelling.3.
