Table 3-5 is a listof the cable connections.OPERATOR INTERFACE DEVICESThis section contains information and the installation instruc-tions for the operator and engineering keyboards, mouse/trackball and the annunciator display panels.Operator KeyboardThe KEYBOARD port on the keyboard interface assembly is forthe mylar operator keyboard. The 0.9 meters (3-foot) longcoiled cord can be stretched to 2.4 meters (8 feet). See Figure3-17. Refer to Table 7-1 for the operator keyboard partnumber.Engineering KeyboardEach IIOIC42 console supports an additional engineering key-board (QWERTY) (Figure 3-18). A 6-pin mini DIN to 5-pin DINadapter is supplied with the keyboard. All OIC consoles have afive-pin DIN connector located on the keyboard interfaceboard. Power does not have to be removed from the OIC con-sole before plugging in or unplugging the keyboard. Initializingthe system is not needed after plugging in or unplugging thekeyboard.
