Normallydata protocol for traffic on both channels will be synchronous.If the requirement for either of your DTEs is for asynchronous data, youmust alter your KBU 64’s configuration to reflect this.Note that it may first be necessary to change the SPEED parameter to aspeed which can be both synchronous and asynchronous (600 to38k4bit/s), otherwise the asynchronous DATA setting parameter changewill not be accepted by the KBU 64.
