Anti-Pinch Feature OverrideA condition may exist that causes anti-pinch feature ofthe sunroof to activate due to weather or an obstruction.In an emergency, the anti-pinch feature can beoverridden in a supervised mode.To override the anti-pinch feature rotate the sunroofcontrol to the closed position, then press the controlupward and continue pressing upward until the sunroofreaches the desired position.In this mode, the sunroof can still close on an object inits path. Use care when using the override mode.Vehicle PersonalizationIn addition to the following features, your vehicle mayalso have features that can be programmed through theDriver Information Center (DIC). See DIC VehiclePersonalization on page 3-70 for more information.Memory Seat and MirrorsIf your vehicle has the memory feature, you canprogram and recall memory settings for the driver’sseating and outside rearview mirror driving positions forup to two drivers.The buttons for this featureare located on the driver’sdoor armrest.Use the following steps to program the buttons:1. Adjust the driver’s seat including the seatbackrecliner and both outside mirrors.2. Press and hold button 1 for at least three seconds.Two beeps will sound to confirm that the seat andmirror positions have been saved.3. Repeat the procedure for a second driver usingbutton 2.If your vehicle has an automatic transmission, thevehicle must be in PARK (P) to recall the stored drivingpositions. If your vehicle has a manual transmissionand the engine is running, the parking brake must be setto recall the memory seat driving positions. The storeddriving positions can be recalled without setting theparking brake if the vehicle is off.2-52
