File System and NamingThe song name that displays is the song name thatis contained in the ID3 tag. If the song name is notpresent in the ID3 tag, then the radio displays the filename without the extension (such as .mp3) as thetrack name.Track names longer than 32 characters or four pagesare shortened. Parts of words on the last page of textand the extension of the filename does not display.Preprogrammed PlaylistsPreprogrammed playlists that were created usingWinAmp™, MusicMatch™, or Real Jukebox™ softwarecan be accessed, however, they cannot be edited usingthe radio. These playlists are treated as special folderscontaining compressed audio song files. Playlists musthave a file extension of PLS, M3U, or WPL.Playlists can be changed by using the S c and c Tfolder buttons, the a knob, or the SEEK arrows. Trackscannot be changed. Songs are played sequentially;press the s REV or \ FWD to reverse or advancethrough the currently playing song.Playing an MP3/WMAInsert a CD-R or CD-RW partway into the slot (SingleCD Player), or press the load button and wait for themessage to insert disc (Six-Disc CD Player), label sideup. The player pulls it in, and the CD-R or CD-RWshould begin playing.Z (Eject): Press this button to eject CD-R(s) orCD-RW(s). To eject the CD-R or CD-RW that iscurrently playing, press and release this button.A beep sounds and Ejecting Disc displays. Once thedisc is ejected, Remove Disc displays. The CD-R orCD-RW can be removed.
