Thetransition time for the lamps comingon varies based on wiper speed. Whenthe wipers are not operating, theselamps turn off. Move the exteriorlamp control to O or ; to disablethis feature.Adaptive ForwardLighting (AFL)For vehicles with uplevel headlamps,the AFL system adjusts the headlampsto provide greater road illumination invarious driving conditions.To enable AFL, set the exterior lampcontrol to the AUTO position. Movingthe control out of the AUTO positionwill deactivate the system. AFL willoperate when the vehicle speed isgreater than 3 km/h (2 mph). AFL willnot operate when the transmission isin R (Reverse). AFL is not immediatelyoperable after starting the vehicle;driving a short distance is required tocalibrate the AFL. See Exterior LampControls 0 151.Curve LightingThe light beam pivots based on thesteering wheel position and vehiclespeed of at least 10 km/h (6 mph).The headlamps shine at an angle ofup to 15 degrees to the right or left ofthe direction of travel.Hazard Warning Flashers| : Press this button on the centerstack to make the front and rear turnsignal lamps flash on and off.
