The Tour andSport Modes will feel similar on asmooth road.Tour : Use for normal city andhighway driving. This setting providesa smooth, soft ride.Sport : Use where road conditions orpersonal preference demand morecontrol. This setting provides more“feel,” or response to road conditions.The vehicle is normally in Tour Mode.Sport Mode is engaged when the shiftlever is placed in M (Manual Mode).When the shift lever is placed in D(Drive) the system will revert back toTour Mode.The Driver Information Center (DIC)briefly displays the appropriatemessage on vehicle startup or when anew mode is selected. See Ride ControlSystem Messages 0 141.Limited-Slip Rear AxleVehicles with a limited-slip rear axlecan give more traction on snow, mud,ice, sand or gravel. When traction islow, this feature allows the drivewheel with the most traction to movethe vehicle. The limited-slip rear axlealso gives the driver enhanced controlwhen cornering hard or completing amaneuver, such as a lane change.
