6) Wiper unitThe wiper unit driven by the paper feed motor is located on the left side of the printerbody. This unit is provided exclusively for Black BJ cartridge BC-80. It presses anink absorber against the print head face plate each time the preset dot count isreached to absorb ink, and the ink absorber takes up ink by transferring the ink tothe rubber wound around the paper feed roller.
