1521 Display the Live View image. Press the <A> button. The image will appear on the LCDmonitor. The image’s field of view is approx. 100%.2 Focus the subject. When you press the shutter buttonhalfway, the camera will focus withthe current AF mode (p.160-167).3 Take the picture. Press the shutter button completely. The picture will be taken and the capturedimage is displayed on the LCD monitor. After the image review ends, the camera willreturn to Live View shooting automatically. Press the <A> button to exit LiveView shooting.A Shooting with the LCD MonitorAbout the White < > and Red <E> Internal TemperatureWarning Icons If he camera’s internal temperature increases due to prolonged LiveView shooting or a high ambient temperature, a white < > icon willappear. If you continue shoo ing while his icon is displayed, he imagequality of still photos may deteriorate. You should stop the Live Viewshooting and allow the camera to cool down before shoo ing again. If the camera’s internal temperature further increases while the white < >icon is displayed, a red <E> icon will start blinking. This blinking icon is awarning that the Live View shooting will soon be terminated automatically. Ifhis happens, you will not be able to shoot again until the camera’s internaltemperature decreases. Turn off the power and let the camera rest for a while. Live View shooting at high temperature for a prolonged period will causethe < > and <E> icons to appear sooner. When not shooting, turn offthe camera.
