This feature can be used in the Creative zone. In 〈 〉 mode, this feature operates when the shutter button is pressed downhalfway. The exposure is locked (AE lock) while the Depth-of-Field Preview button ispressed. If the 30” shutter speed blinks, the scene istoo dark. Turn the 〈 〉 dial to reduce theaperture value (larger aperture). If the 4000 shutter speed blinks, the scene istoo bright. Turn the 〈 〉 dial to increase theaperture value (smaller aperture). You can also set the camera so that you can set the aperture value in 1/3-stopincrements. (C.Fn-4 124) You can fix the shutter speed at 1/200 second for shooting with a flash.(C.Fn-6-1 126)
