131Handy FeaturesTo save battery power, the camera turns off automatically after the settime of idle operation elapses. You can set this auto power-off time.When the camera has turned off due to auto power off, you can wakeup the camera by pressing the shutter button halfway or any of thefollowing buttons: <M> <B> <x> etc.If [Off] has been set, either turn off the camera yourself or pressthe <B> button to turn off the shooting settings display to savebattery power.If [Off] has been set and the camera is not used for 30 min., theLCD monitor will turn off automatically. To turn on the LCD monitoragain, press the <B> button.Under the [5] tab, select [Auto poweroff], then press <0>. Set the time, thenpress <0>.You can adjust the brightness of the LCD monitor to make it easier to read.Under the [6] tab, select [LCDbrightness], then press <0>.
