This means that the machinedoes not produce hazardous laser radiation.Since radiation emitted inside the machine is completely confined withinprotective housings, and external covers, the laser beam cannot escapefrom the machine during any phase of user operation.CDRH RegulationsThe Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the U.S. Foodand Drug Administration implemented regulations for laser products onAugust 2, 1976. These regulations apply to laser products manufacturedfrom August 1, 1976.
