However, if themachine is unplugged during printing, the print head is not protected with the cap that preventsthe ink from drying. This may affect the print quality of the machine when printing later.• During electrical storms, turn OFF the power and disconnect the power cord from the poweroutlet.• Do not use an extension cord as this may result in fire or electrical shock.• Ensure that the area around the power outlet is kept clear at all times so you can easily unplug thepower cord if necessary.
