However, you can set the backlight at battery use to the same brightness.Open the menu and select [DISPLAY SETUP/ ]. Select [BACKLIGHT], set itto [BRIGHT] and close the menu.Recording in 16:9 (Widescreen TV Recording)The camcorder uses the full width of the CCD providing high-resolution 16:9recording. When you turn off the image stabilizer, you will get a larger horizontalangle of view.To switch 16:9 on, open the menu and select [CAMERA SETUP].
