This will help Canon giveyou better support service.If you seem to have a problem, try to solve it by referring to the troubleshootinginformation in Chapter 7, Troubleshooting. If you cannot solve the problem,contact the Canon Computer Systems Customer Care Center (see previous pagefor details).If you feel your MultiPASS needs servicing, contact Canon on the World Wide Webto locate the Canon Authorized Service Facility (ASF) nearest you. If you do nothave access to the Web, you can call Canon (see previous page for details).Important Safety InstructionsRead these safety instructions thoroughly before using your MultiPASS, and referto them later if you have any questions.❑ Except as specifically described in this manual, do not attempt to service theMultiPASS yourself. Never attempt to disassemble the unit: opening andremoving its interior covers will expose you to dangerous voltages and otherrisks. Refer all servicing to a Canon Authorized Service Facility (ASF). Call theCanon Customer Care Center for details.❑ Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the MultiPASS.❑ Place the MultiPASS on a level surface. To avoid serious damage from falling,never place the unit on an unstable cart, stand, or table.❑ Do not use the MultiPASS near water. Make sure that no wet or humid objectscome into contact with the unit.❑ Do not use or store the unit outdoors.Save your sales receipt for proof of purchase.
