Chapter 11 113TroubleshootingCannot Connect To PC Properly Printing Speed Is Slow/USB 2.0 Hi-Speed Connection Does Not Work When You Connect To A Computer Running Windows XP, The ScreenShows The Warning Message “High-Speed USB Device Plugged IntoNon-High-Speed USB Hub”The computer has an old version ofthe software installed. (CanonMultiPASS is registered as aprogram in the [Start] menu.)Uninstall the old version of the software following the instructions in themanual of that version, and reinstall the new version.Installation procedure not followedcorrectly.Follow the Easy Setup Instructions packaged with your machine forproper MP driver installation.If the MP driver was not installed correctly, uninstall the MP driver, andrestart your computer. Try to reinstall the MP driver.If the installer was forcibly terminated due to an error, Windows may beunstable. Remove the CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive and restart yourcomputer.Reinstall the MP driver.Cause ActionYour environment is not fullycompatible with USB 2.0.If your environment is not fully compatible with USB 2.0, the machine willoperate at the lower speed provided under USB 1.1.
