Thecamera will make a slight clicking noiseas it determines the scene.XX Icons representing the scene and imagestabilization mode are displayed in theupper right of the screen.XX Frames displayed around any detectedsubjects indicate that they are in focus.3 Compose the shot.zz To zoom in and enlarge the subject, movethe zoom lever toward <i> (telephoto),and to zoom away from the subject, moveit toward <j> (wide angle).4 Shoot.Shooting Still ImagesFocus.zz Press the shutter button lightly, halfwaydown. The camera beeps twice afterfocusing, and AF frames are displayed toindicate image areas in focus.Shoot.zz Press the shutter button all the waydown.XX As the camera shoots, a shutter soundis played, and in low-light conditions, theflash fires automatically.zz Keep the camera still until the shuttersound ends.XX Your shot is only displayed until thecamera is ready to shoot again.
