Six still images are recorded for each shot. You can capturemultiple still images with effects using camera-determined settings.1 Enter [ ] mode.zz Set the mode switch to [ ].2 Shoot.zz Press the shutter button all the waydown. As you shoot, the shutter sound isplayed three times.zz After the six images are displayedin succession, they are displayedsimultaneously for about two seconds.zz To keep the images displayed untilyou press the shutter button halfway,press the <m> button. For full-screendisplay in this state, choose an image bypressing the <o><p><q><r> buttons,and then press the <m> button.zz To return to the original display, press the<n> button.• Shooting will take some time when the flash fires, but hold the camera steadyuntil the shutter sound is played three times.Image Display during PlaybackThe six images from each shot are managed together as a group, and onlythe first image in the series is displayed during playback. To indicate that theimage is part of a group, [ ] is displayed in the upper left of the screen.• If you erase a grouped image (=74), all images in the group arealso erased. Be careful when erasing images.• Grouped images can be played back individually (=69) and ungrouped(=69).• Protecting (=72) a grouped image will protect all images in the group.• Grouped images can be viewed individually when played back using ImageSearch (=68) or Smart Shuffle (=71). In this case, images aretemporarily ungrouped.• The following actions are not available for grouped images: magnifying(=70), rotating (=76), tagging as favorites (=77), editing (=78– 80), printing (=127), adding to the print list (=131), or adding toa photobook (=134). To do these things, either view grouped imagesindividually (=69) or cancel grouping (=69) first.• Simultaneous display as shown in step 2 is only available immediately afteryou shoot.COPY
