4-94 Setting PageCamera Name[Camera Name]Be sure to enter [Camera Name (alphanumericcharacters)].Up to 15 ASCII characters (spaces and printablecharacters) may be used for [Camera Name(alphanumeric characters)].Note• The camera name set here will be shown when the camera isregistered for use with bundled RM-Lite.Initial Camera Settings1 [AE Mode], [Slow Shutter], [Shutter Speed]Set the exposure control and shutter speed for thecamera startup.[AE Mode][Auto]The exposure is controlled automatically.[Auto (Flickerless)]In this mode, image flickers caused by fluorescentlights, etc., can be reduced. The shutter speed isautomatically adjusted according to the brightnessof the environment in which the camera is used.[Auto (Shutter-priority AE)]In this mode, a desired shutter speed can bespecified.[Slow Shutter]Slow shutter can be used only if [Auto] is selected in[AE Mode].Set the maximum slow shutter time to be used inauto exposure mode when capturing video in a darkplace. Select [Disable], [1/15] or [1/8]. As longershutter times generate residual images whencapturing a moving subject, select an appropriatetime according to the capture conditions.[Shutter Speed]Shutter speed can be used only if [Auto (Shutter-priority AE)] is selected in [AE Mode].Select a desired shutter speed from the 12 levelsfrom [1/8] to [1/8000]. When capturing a movingsubject, selecting a higher shutter speed canreduce blurry image capture.2 [Exposure Compensation]The exposure compensation when the camera startscan be set in the range of -3 to 3. To brighten theimage, set a positive value. To darken the image, set anegative value.[Camera] Camera Control and External Device Name SettingsThe following can be set here.• Camera NameEnter the name of the camera. The camera nameis required for use with RM-Lite.• Initial Camera SettingsSet the AE mode and shutter speed, exposurecompensation, metering mode, focus mode andsmart shade control and white balance for thecamera startup.• Camera ControlSet the digital zoom and image stabilizer.• Day/NightSet the day/night switching mode.• Installation ConditionsSet whether or not to use the dome, the LEDsetting and image flip.• Camera Position ControlSet whether or not to limit the pan, tilt and zoomoperations to the preset positions. Also, set thecamera position when nobody has controlprivileges.• External Device NameSet the external input device name and externaloutput device name.
