The table belowshows the operation and the purposes in each status from start-up of the device and to lastrotation after print job completion.Status OperationWAIT(Wait)Interval from power-ONor reactivation from sleepmode upon shutting thedoor(s) to entering the print-ready statusActivate the printer to be ready for printing. During WAITtime, the following operations are done: pressure is appliedto the pressure roller of the Fixing Unit; check cartridgesand units being in place; move the developing unit to thehome position; and, clean the ITB. When needed, colordisplacement is corrected and the image is stabilized.STBY(STBY)Interval from the waittime or the last rotation toissuance of a print commandfrom the main controller orpower-OFF.Maintain the print-ready status. The printer enters the sleepmode upon receiving a “sleep” command from the maincontroller during the stand-by status. The printer executescolor displacement correction or image stabilization uponreceiving corresponding commands from the main controller.INTR(IINTR)Interval from issuance ofa print command from themain controller during thestand-by status to warmingup the Fixing Unit to thetarget temperature. To make the printer ready for print jobs, activate high-voltage bias PCBs, the Laser Scanner Unit and the FixingUnit.PRINT(Print)Interval from the initialrotation to completion of lastpage fixation.Based on the video signals input from the main controller, form the static latent image on the photosensitive drum totransfer and fix the toner image on paper. When a certainpages are printed after power-ON, the device undergoescolor displacement correction and/or image stabilization.LSTR(Lastrotation)Interval from print jobcompletion to Motordeactivation. The last page of the print job is completely delivered. Inthis status, the Laser Scanner Unit and high-voltage biasPCBs are inactive. The printer starts the initial rotation uponreceiving a print command from the main controller duringthis status.T-2-1T-2-1
