44Outdoor Air Temperature (OAT) Sensor —The OAT is factory--mounted in the EconoMi$erR2 (FIOPor accessory). It is a nominal 10k ohm thermistor attachedto an eyelet mounting ring.EconoMi$er 2 —The PremierLinkt controller is used with EconoMi$er2(option or accessory) for outdoor air management. Thedamper position is controlled directly by the PremierLinkcontroller; the EconoMi$er2 unit has no internal logicdevice.Outdoor air management functions can be enhanced withfield--installation of these accessory control devices:Enthalpy control (outdoor air or differential sensors)Space CO2 sensorOutdoor air CO2 sensorRefer to Table 22 on page 45 for accessory part numbers.Field ConnectionsField connections for accessory sensor and input devicesare made at the 16--pole terminal block (TB1) located onthe control box bottom shelf in front of the PremierLinkcontroller (see Fig. 50). Some input devices also require a24--vac signal source; connect at CTB terminal R at“THERMOSTAT” connection strip for this signal source.See connections figures on following pages for fieldconnection locations (and for continued connections at thePremierLink board inputs).Table 23 (on page 46) provides a summary of fieldconnections for units equipped with Space Sensor. Table 24(on page 46) provides a summary of field connections forunits equipped with space thermostat.Space Sensors —The PremierLink controller is factory--shipped configuredfor Space Sensor Mode. A Carrier T--55 or T--56 spacesensor must be used. T--55 space temperature sensorprovides a signal of space temperature to the PremierLinkcontroller. T--56 provides same space temperature signalplus it allows for adjustment of space temperaturesetpoints from the face of the sensor by the occupants.2 3 4 5 61SW1SENBRN (GND)BLU (SPT)RED(+)WHT(GND)BLK(-) CCN COMSENSOR WIRINGC08201Fig. 51 -- T--55 Space Temperature Sensor WiringConnect T--55: See Fig. 51 for typical T--55 internalconnections. Use the R and Cterminals on the CTB’s THERMOSTAT connection stripfor these. Connect the thermostat’s Y1, Y2, W1, W2 andG terminals to the PremierLink controller at TB1 asshown in Fig. 55.If the 50TCQ unit is equipped with factory--installed smokedetector(s), disconnect the factory BLU lead at TB1--6 (Y2)before connecting the thermostat. Identify the BLU leadoriginating at CTB--DDC--1; disconnect at TB1--6 and tapeoff. Confirm that the second BLU lead at TB1--6 remainsconnected to the PremierLink controller at J4--8.
