E-35Auto AccompanimentExample:To play the chord C major.Any of the fingerings shown in the illustration below willproduce C major. As with the FINGERED mode (page E-34), you can playthe notes that form a chord in any combination (1). When the lowest note of a chord is separated from itsneighboring note by six or more semitones, the lowest notebecomes the bass note (2).This keyboard lets you insert a short intro into a rhythmpattern to make startup smoother and more natural.The following procedure describes how to use the Introfeature. Before starting, you should first select the rhythm youwant to use, set the tempo, and use the MODE button to selectthe chord play method you want to use (NORMAL, CASIOCHORD, FINGERED, FULL RANGE CHORD).1. Press INTRO/ENDING button 1 or 2. With the above setup, the intro pattern is playedand the auto accompaniment with intro patternstarts as soon as you play chords on theaccompaniment keyboard. The standard rhythm pattern starts to play after the intropattern is complete.Fill-in patterns let you momentarily change the rhythmpattern to add some interesting variation to yourperformances.The following procedure describes how to use the Fill-infeature.1. Press the START/STOP button to start rhythmplay.2. Select the fill-in variation you want. To insert Fill-in 1, press the VARIATION/FILL-IN 1 button while Variation 1 of the rhythm isplaying. To insert Fill-in 2, press the VARIATION/FILL-IN 2 button while Variation 2 of the rhythm isplaying. Only the SYNCHRO/FILL-IN NEXT button is operationalwhile an intro is playing.
