EnglishUsing Built-in TonesE-13Your Digital Piano comes equipped with three pedals:damper, soft, and sostenuto.Pedal Functions Damper PedalPressing the damper pedal while playing will cause thenotes you play to reverberate for a very long time.• When a GRAND PIANO tone (MODERN, CLASSIC,VARIATION) is selected as the tone, pressing thispedal will cause notes to reverberate (acousticresonance) just like the damper pedal on an acousticgrand piano. Half-pedal operation (pressing thepedal part way) is also supported. Soft PedalPressing this pedal while playing suppresses notesplayed on the keyboard after the pedal was pressed,and makes them sound softer. Sostenuto PedalOnly the notes of the keys that are depressed when thispedal is pressed are sustained until the pedal isreleased.1. Press the (METRONOME) button.This will start the metronome.2. Press the (METRONOME) button again tostop the metronome.Changing the Beats Per MeasureYou can specify from two to six beats per measure forthe metronome. After you do, a chime will sound at thebeginning of each measure. Specifying 0 for this settingwill sound a straight beat, without a chime. This settinglets you practice with a steady beat.1. Hold down the (METRONOME) buttonuntil the number of beats per measure screenshown below appears on the display.2. Use the (w, q) buttons to select thebeats per measure value you want.3.
