Disconnect the refrigerantpiping.Preparation Remove the electrical boxaccording to the “Removal ofElectrical Box / PCBs / SwingMotors”.CautionIf the refrigerant leaks, repair thespot of leaking, then collect allrefrigerant from the unit. Afterconducting vacuum drying,recharge proper amount ofrefrigerant.CautionIn pump-down work, be sure tostop the compressor beforedisconnecting the refrigerantpipe. If the refrigerant pipe isdisconnected with thecompressor operating and thestop valve open, air may besucked in and may generate anover-pressure in refrigerationcycle, thus resulting in piperupture or accidental injury. Place a plastic sheet under thedrain pan to prevent fromwetting the floor with remainingdrain. If the drain hose is embedded inthe wall, disconnect the drainhose beforehand. Carry out the removal workswith 2 wrenches.
