Installation and operation manual22 RXYQQ8~20T7Y1BVRV IV System Air Conditioner4P345099-1 – 2013.04Point of attention regarding quality of the public electric powersupplyThis equipment complies with respectively: EN/IEC 61000-3-11 (4) provided that the system impedance Z sysis less than or equal to Z max . EN/IEC 61000-3-12 (5) provided that the short-circuit power S scis greater than or equal to the minimum S sc value. At the interface point between the user's supply and the publicsystem. It is the responsibility of the installer or user of the equipmentto ensure, by consultation with the distribution network operator ifnecessary, that the equipment is connected only to a supply withrespectively: Zsys less than or equal to Z max . S sc greater than or equal to the minimum S sc value.12.2. Internal wiring – Parts tableRefer to the wiring diagram sticker on the unit. Use only copper wires. All field wiring must be carried out in accordance withthe wiring diagram supplied with the unit and theinstructions given below. Never squeeze bundled cables and be sure that itdoes not come in contact with the non-insulatedpiping and sharp edges. Be sure no external pressureis applied to the terminal connections. Power supply wires must be attached securely. If the power supply has a missing or wrong N-phase,equipment will break down. Be sure to establish an earth. Do not earth the unit toa utility pipe, surge absorber, or telephone earth.Incomplete earth may cause electrical shock. Be sure to install an earth leakage protector inaccordance with the applicable legislation. Failure todo so may cause electric shock or fire. Be sure to use a dedicated power circuit, never use apower supply shared by another appliance. When installing the earth leakage protector be surethat it is compatible with the inverter (resistant to highfrequency electric noise) to avoid unnecessaryopening of the earth leakage protector. As this unit is equipped with an inverter, installing aphase advancing capacitor not only will deterioratepower factor improvement effect, but also may causea capacitor abnormal heating accident due to high-frequency waves. Therefore, never install a phaseadvancing capacitor. Be sure to install the required fuses or circuitbreakers. Do not operate until refrigerant piping work iscompleted. (If operated before completion of thepiping work, the compressor may break down.) Never remove a thermistor, sensor, etc., whenconnecting power wiring and transmission wiring.(If operated without thermistor, sensor, etc., thecompressor may break down.) The reversed phase protection detector of thisproduct only functions when the product starts up.Consequently reversed phase detection is notperformed during normal operation of the product. The reversed phase protection detector is designed tostop the product in the event of an abnormality whenthe product is started up. Replace two of the three phases (L1, L2, and L3)during reverse-phase protection abnormality. If there exists the possibility of reversed phase after amomentary black out and the power goes on and offwhile the product is operating, attach a reversedphase protection circuit locally. Running the product inreversed phase can break the compressor and otherparts.(4) European/International Technical Standard setting the limits for voltagechanges, voltage fluctuations and flicker in public low-voltage supplysystems for equipment with rated current ≤75 A.(5) European/International Technical Standard setting the limits for harmoniccurrents produced by equipment connected to public low-voltage systemswith input current >16 A and ≤75 A per phase.Z max (Ω)Minimum Sscvalue (kVA)RXYQQ8 — 1216RXYQQ10 — 564RXYQQ12 — 615RXYQQ14 — 917RXYQQ16 — 924RXYQQ18 — 873RXYQQ20 — 970RXYQQ22 — 1179RXYQQ24 — 2140RXYQQ26 — 1532RXYQQ28 — 1539RXYQQ30 — 1488RXYQQ32 — 1848RXYQQ34 — 1797RXYQQ36 — 1894RXYQQ38 — 2750RXYQQ40 — 2052RXYQQ42 — 2412INFORMATIONMulti units are standard combinations.
