LCPThe local control panel (LCP) makes up a completeinterface for control and programming of the adjustablefrequency drive. The LCP is detachable and can beinstalled up to 10 ft [3 m] from the adjustable frequencydrive, in a front panel with the installation kit option. The LCP is available in two versions:• Numerical LCP101 (NLCP)• Graphical LCP102 (GLCP)lsbLeast significant bit.MCMShort for mille circular mil, an American measuring unit forcable cross-section. 1 MCM ≡ 0.5067 mm2.msbMost significant bit.NLCPNumerical local control panel LCP101.Online/Offline ParametersChanges to online parameters are activated immediatelyafter the data value is changed. Changes to offlineparameters are not activated until [OK] is entered on theLCP.PID ControllerThe PID controller maintains the desired speed, pressureand temperature by adjusting the output frequency tomatch the varying load.PCDProcess Data.Pulse input/incremental encoderAn external digital sensor used for feedback information ofmotor speed and direction. Encoders are used for high-speed accuracy feedback and in high dynamic applications. The encoder connection is either via terminal 32 orencoder option MCB 102.RCDResidual Current Device. A device that disconnects a circuitin case of an imbalance between an energized conductorand ground. Also known as a ground fault circuitinterrupter (GFCI).Set-upParameter settings can be saved in four set-ups. Changebetween the four parameter set-ups and edit one set-up,while another set-up is active.SFAVMSwitching pattern called Stator Flux oriented AsynchronousVector Modulation (14-00 Switching Pattern).Slip CompensationThe adjustable frequency drive compensates for the motorslip by giving the frequency a supplement that follows themeasured motor load, keeping the motor speed almostconstant.Smart Logic Control (SLC)The SLC is a sequence of user-defined actions executedwhen the associated user-defined events are evaluated astrue by the SLC.STWStatus word.Thermistor:A temperature-dependent resistor placed where thetemperature is monitored (adjustable frequency drive ormotor).THDTotal Harmonic Distortion. A state of full harmonicdistortion.TripA state entered in fault situations. For example, if theadjustable frequency drive is subject to an overtem-perature or when it is protecting the motor, process, ormechanism. Restart is prevented until the cause of thefault has disappeared and the trip state is canceled byactivating reset or, in some cases, by being programmedto reset automatically. Do not use trip for personal safety.Trip LockedA state entered in fault situations when the adjustablefrequency drive is protecting itself and requires physicalintervention. For example, if the adjustable frequency driveis subject to a short circuit on the output, it will enter triplock. A locked trip can only be canceled by cutting off linepower, removing the cause of the fault, and reconnectingthe adjustable frequency drive. How to Read this Design Gui...
