3.4.12 Installation of E Load Share OptionThe load share option can be installed on enclosure sizeE2.Ordering information• Enclosure type E1/E2: 176F18433.5 Enclosure Type F Panel Options3.5.1 Enclosure Type F OptionsSpace heaters and thermostatMounted on the cabinet interior of enclosure size Ffrequency converters, space heaters controlled viaautomatic thermostat help control humidity inside theenclosure. This control extends the lifetime of frequencyconverter components in damp environments. Thethermostat default settings turn on the heaters at 10 °C(50 °F) and turn them off at 15.6 °C (60 °F).Cabinet light with power outletA light mounted on the cabinet interior of enclosure size Ffrequency converters increases visibility during servicingand maintenance. The housing light includes a poweroutlet, which temporarily powers tools or other devices, available in 2 voltages:• 230 V, 50 Hz, 2.5 A, CE/ENEC• 120 V, 60 Hz, 5 A, UL/cULTransformer tap set-upIf the cabinet light and outlet and/or the space heatersand thermostat are installed, transformer T1 requires itstaps to be set to the proper input voltage. A 380-480/500V frequency converter is initially set to the 525 V tap, anda 525–690 V frequency converter is set to the 690 V tap. This setting ensures that no overvoltage of secondaryequipment occurs if the tap is not changed before poweris applied. See Table 3.12 to set the proper tap at terminalT1 located in the rectifier cabinet. For location in thefrequency converter, see Illustration 4.1.Input voltage range [V] Tap to select380–440 400 V441–490 460 V491–550 525 V551–625 575 V626–660 660 V661–690 690 VTable 3.12 Setting of Transformer TapNAMUR terminalsNAMUR is an international association of automationtechnology-users in the process industries, primarilychemical and pharmaceutical industries in Germany.Selecting this option provides terminals organised andlabelled to the specifications of the NAMUR standard forfrequency converter input and output terminals. There is a pre-warning (50% of main alarm setpoint) and a main alarmsetpoint. Associated with each setpoint is an SPDT alarmrelay for external use. It requires an external “window-type”current transformer (supplied and installed by customer).• Integrated into the frequency converter’s safe-stop circuit.• IEC 60755 Type B device monitors AC, pulsed DC,and pure DC ground fault currents.• LED bar graph indicator of the ground faultcurrent level from 10–100% of the setpoint.• Fault memory.• [TEST/RESET].IRM (insulation resistance monitor)IRM monitors the insulation resistance in ungroundedsystems (IT systems in IEC terminology) between thesystem phase conductors and ground. There is an ohmicpre-warning and a main alarm setpoint for the insulationlevel. Associated with each setpoint is an SPDT alarm relayfor external use.NOTICEOnly 1 insulation resistance monitor can be connected toeach ungrounded (IT) system.• Integrated into the frequency converter’s safe-stop circuit.• LCD display of the ohmic value of the insulationresistance.• Fault memory.• [INFO], [TEST], and [RESET].IEC emergency stop with Pilz safety relayIEC emergency stop with Pilz safety relay includes aredundant 4-wire emergency-stop push-button mountedon the front of the enclosure and a Pilz relay that monitorsit with the frequency converter’s safe-stop circuit and themains contactor located in the options cabinet.STO + Pilz RelaySTO + Pilz Relay provides a solution for the "EmergencyStop" option without the contactor in F enclosurefrequency converters.Manual motor startersManual motor starters provide 3-phase power for electricblowers often required for larger motors. Power for thestarters is provided from the load side of any suppliedcontactor, circuit breaker, or disconnect switch. Power isfused before each motor start, and is off when theincoming power to the frequency converter is off.
